LEARN English in England - courses for children
Educational Foundation Bell International is famous
for its courses for children, which beside providing
them with study and play, are also completety safe. A
stay abroad, far from family is very stressful, therefore
24-hour supervision is so important.
All courses for children at Bell International are organised
on residential basis and are situated in real English
boarding schools, which often have their own long history
and tradition. Children from the whole world come to
stay in five centres. They are:
1. Cobham Hall, Kent (Bedgebury)
2. Bloxham School, Oxfordshire
3. The Leys Schools, Cambridge
4. Wellington College, Berkshire
Children learn in three age groups and on many language
levels in international groups. What is important, they
do it by getting involved in various practical and physical
activities ('learning by doing') thus developing such
skills as giving presentations, doing research, getting
around in international and multicultural contexts not
to mention polishing their social skills.
Bell in Great Britain invites children to the following
types of courses:
1. English Discovery: 18 hours of lessons and 5 hours
of activities in interest clubs.
2 Winter Explorer: 21 trips to Cambridge, London and
Edinburgh (optional)
3. English & Activity: 15 hours of lessons and
15 hours of special programme of
combination of unusual sports (e.g. archery and fencing)
and computer or art classes.
4. British Life & Culture: a special programme
for bilingual and proficient students.
5. Academic English: a course designed mainly for people
who want to study in Great
Britain or those interested in doing an intensive language
course focused around classroom
work.
